Jax is a big boy at 17lbs, but he is a gentle soul who just wants to chill. He is sweet and calm, and is happiest cuddling on his humans’ lap or snuggled up in his bed. Jax’s previous owner described him as having a “loyal, dog-like personality, who will come up to greet you when you walk in the door.” His playful side comes out when he gets a cat nip treat, and he has been caught playing with cat toys from time to time. But don’t embarrass him, okay? Be cool. 

Jax does seem to get along with most other cats, but was surrendered for harassing the previous owner’s senior cat. This sweet boy? We don’t believe it. He would do best in a calm, quiet household that respects his wishes to just lay around.
