How The Contest Works

1. You buy tickets every week and your name will get entered into the weekly draw.
2. Tickets are available to purchase by visiting the Animal Shelter website:  www.stpaulanimalshelter.org
3. Go to the Chase the Ace page and scan the QR Code or click on the link to Buy Tickets Now.
4. Ticket price is ONE ticket for $2.00, multiple tickets can be bought at once. A maximum of 10,000 are available. 
5. Payment can be made via E-Transfer to pawsofgold8@gmail.com
6. Ticket sales will be cut off every Tuesday at 11:59pm
   1. Any tickets purchased after this time frame will be added to the following weeks draw.
7. Every Wednesday, at 9:00am a name will be drawn from the tickets purchased that week. 
8. If your name is drawn, you will automatically win $20.00 and an opportunity to draw a card from a deck of 54 cards.
9. The weekly winner will be asked to be present at 4:00pm at a designated place to draw a card from the deck of cards.
10. If the winner is not able to be present, they must agree for an organizing member to draw on their behalf. All draws will be video taped. 
11. If you draw the Ace of Spades, you will 50% of the progressive pot.
12. If the Ace of Spades is not drawn, the progressive pot will continue to grow until the Aces of Spades gets drawn.
13. If the progressive pot reaches $20,000 and the Ace of Spades has not been drawn, another name will be drawn, and the draw will take place by proxy until a winner is declared. The winner will be notified immediately via phone and/or email. 

NOTES: 

• There is no carry over of the purchased tickets from week to week. All weekly draws are ‘new draws’ and new tickets must be purchased to be in the next weekly draw.
• Once a card is drawn from the deck, it will be removed and no longer in play.
• The amount of the Progressive Pot, weekly winner and the card drawn will be displayed on the Winner Board and posted on the Animal Shelter Facebook page and website.
